just thought i would do my best impression of wayne rooney to kick things off. its been a while and what better way but to immitate one of our nations most loved/hated heros/wankers.
in all fairness, wayne was only venting his frustration at earning £100k a week, shaggin colleen every other night and scoring a hat trick for one of the biggest football clubs in the world.
the rest of us only have to go to jobs we hate earning nothing but pennys and shagging nothing but your own fist.....but enough about marc stevenson, lets talk about some music shall we?
I am going to post a song i recorded months ago called ruby. its influenced by the silver apples song by the same name. its just me singing over some really simple guitar iin open d. i like it though, it has legs.
i am posting this because i promised some more songs from bucky lagrange and the museums. truth is i simply havent had the time to do anything over the last month or so. its been hardcore and not in a good way.
anyway, they song will be somewhere in this post so look out for it, download it, listen to it, judge it, tell me you love it even if your actually thinking "what the fahook is this shite? hes not even wrote a chorus......or a second verse."
foo fighters have a new album out. not heard it. its meant to be good. have a listen if you want, its up to you. but its meant to be quite good.
dave grohl is also the nicest bloke in rock..........according to the music press anyway. so no doubt it gets good reviews even if its nothing but a led zep rip off album. what? na, theyre ok.
there aint much happening right now to be fair. things aint the best in the world, i didnt win the grand national or the lottery so you can imagine how i feel. those poor people in those other countries that are having a bad time must be feeling a bit like me right now.
where is the band that sums shit up in one song? there isnt one right now, and there should be. in the words of delia, "where are you?!"
music isnt inspiring right now, or should i say new music. i was listening to some bob dylan today for the first time in months.

there is a massive market for good old fasioned rock/folk/anything guitar based. the problem is, it aint played anymore.
local radio stations should play local bands. they shouldnt be playing the same shite you hear on radio 1.
if you were watching telly and you were watching bbc 1 or sky 1, you wouldnt switch over to comedy central and happily watch the same programmes that are on the other channels (although in daves case, that is exactly what it is). so why are radio stations different? why do you hear the same songs and same shite being spoken by some cunt dj on dee 106.3 as you do on radio 1?
local radio stations should play local bands. let people hear whats going on in there area, give them a chance to hear whats going on outside the mainstream and give them a choice. there is no choice right now and there fuckin should be.

people need to hear whats out there and new bands will do well, people like rock'n'roll and they always will do. blah blah blah im ranting now and im bored of it. you get my point? good.

I tell you what, Wigwam, one of the songs off Beady Eyes album is really really good. Fair play Liam you have done well with 2 or 3 songs on that album. the rest is dire, but never mind.
